Enzymes

Enzymes help to protect and renew the colour of clothing and also prevent pilling by smoothing the surface of a textile. They are also used to remove stains.

Worth knowing

Enzymes are known for their effect even at low temperatures and in Dylon's formulas they make a significant contribution to maintaining the colours and preserving the beauty of textiles. The enzyme cellulase, for example, smoothes the surfaces of textiles and makes the colours of garments shine again. This applies not only to coloureds, but also to white laundry. Enzymes are also responsible for the anti-pilling effect. Regardless of their concentration, enzymes must be labelled on the packaging in accordance with the EU Detergents Regulation.

How do we use enzymes?

Dylon is constantly working on the further development of enzymes. Cold-active enzymes are effective even at low washing temperatures such as 20 or 30°C.
