There are a few things to bear in mind when cleaning so as not to put unnecessary strain on this valuable material. But first things first: it is possible to wash your cashmere jumper without any problems. You can even put the precious piece in the washing machine - with modern machines, this is usually even gentler than hand washing on the wool or delicate cycle. However, it is important that you use a special wool detergent when washing your cashmere jumper: the products have a moisturising effect and preserve the natural protective layer of the cashmere fibres during washing.
